Hugo Huizar
Hugo Huizar, known as Mr. Smooth, is a pioneering street dancer and one of the respected figures in the popping community. He worked with Michael Jackson as a dancer on the iconic Moonwalker, including the legendary “Smooth Criminal” sequence, and also contributed to Captain EO. In addition to performing alongside Jackson, Hugo shared authentic popping techniques directly with him, helping influence the King of Pop’s celebrated dance style.

Bill Wolfer
Bill Wolfer is a GRAMMY-nominated producer, songwriter, musician, and synthesizer programmer best known for his work with Michael Jackson during the landmark Thriller era. He performed as keyboardist on the 1981 Triumph Tour and contributed to sessions connected to the groundbreaking Thriller, as well as other projects including the hit collaboration Say Say Say with Paul McCartney. Wolfer’s musicianship and programming helped shape the innovative sound that defined Jackson’s rise to global superstardom.

Kingvention gives you the chance to meet those who knew and worked with Michael Jackson, while grabbing an autograph or a selfie in the process. Unlike other conventions, Kingvention makes this feature available to everyone - for Supreme, Commander and Captain packages, the Meet & Greet is included. For Major tickets, you’ll need to book the Meet & Greet access for a very low fee (£1) to ensure your access.

VOCAL SHACK
Vocal Shack is a London-based vocal group turning your favourite songs into high-energy performances with crunchy harmonies. We've brought high-energy vocal performances everywhere we go - from recording with Michael Bublé for the ASDA 2023 Christmas ad, to appearing on Genshen Impact soundtrack videos with millions of views, performing at UNESCO World Heritage shows in Portugal, in Red Bull company events to supporting several charities and their events including Maggie's and The Victoria Foundation.
Staying clear of the 3-part harmonies and static choir performances, we wanted to build a group of exceptionally strong vocalists so Vocal Shack perform complex harmonies from industry-leading music arrangers and never fail to bring the fun and party to the room!
Kingvention is so proud to have Vocal Shack opening its 2026 edition and we hope you all love it!
CAFE EO – Connect & Chill
Need a moment to relax during the excitement of Kingvention? CAFE EO is our dedicated chill-out area where fans can take a break, recharge, and enjoy the company of fellow Michael Jackson enthusiasts.
Whether you're catching up with friends, meeting new people from the community, or simply taking a quiet moment to unwind, CAFE EO offers a comfortable space to sit back and relax throughout the day. Refreshments will be available all day to keep you going while you enjoy the atmosphere.

Michael Jackson's Black and Gold Military Jacket
This jacket worn by Michael Jackson is a notable piece from the mid 1990s. First seen in October 1994 in Memphis for Elvis The Tribute it reflects his signature style with bold and expressive detailing. He wore it again in June 1995 for the photoshoot promoting Diane Sawyer interview with himself and Lisa Marie Presley making it a meaningful part of his public image during that time.

The Omer Bhatti Collection: Michael Jackson’s Customised Sailors Varsity Jacket
A customised one-off Sailors college varsity jacket previously owned and worn by Michael Jackson. The pop star was filmed and pictured wearing his customised Sailors jacket on 18 June 1993, when he visited a children's hospital in Washington, where he spent several hours chatting with patients. This lot comes from the personal collection of Norwegian rapper and dancer Omer Bhatti. It was personally gifted to Bhatti by Jackson at his Neverland Ranch in the early 2000s.

A red face mask previously owned and worn by Michael Jackson. Like many of Jackson’s clothing items, his face masks were custom-made and created by his personal costume designers and dressers, Michael Bush and Dennis Tompkins.
The Omer Bhatti Collection: Michael Jackson’s Black Leather Boots
A pair of leather boots previously owned and worn by Michael Jackson. The “King of Pop” wore this style of boot as part of his everyday wardrobe, and in public appearances during the late 1990s and early 2000s. This lot comes from the personal collection of Norwegian rapper and dancer Omer Bhatti, to whom Jackson personally gifted these boots.

Every year at Kingvention, the after-party is a highlight for fans—and part of the fun is the themed dress code for the evening and the red carpet moment. For the past few years, we’ve introduced a theme to inspire creative outfits and give everyone the chance to show their style.
For this theme, we invite you to take inspiration from an iconic Michael Jackson look—whether from his short films, stage performances, music videos, or public appearances—and give it a modern twist. Think of it as remixing a classic: keep the recognizable inspiration, but reinterpret it in your own creative way.
The goal is creativity and reinterpretation—not simply recreating the original look, but transforming it into something new and personal.
As always, participation is completely optional. If you’d like to join the fun, feel free to embrace the theme and show us your remix on the red carpet. If not, just come as you are and enjoy the evening!
