10 years of Kingvention needs to be celebrated, don’t you think?
Kingvention 2025 returned in London on Saturday 24 May 2025 at the Conway Hall in London. Not only the event celebrated its 10th Anniversary but also Michael Jackson’s 30th Anniversary of the release of the iconic album “HIStory”. Joining the fans, Dave Way, mixer, engineer and producer on "Dangerous” and “Blood On The Dance Floor”; Bill Nation, who photographed Michael on numerous video shoots, live performances and personal trips; and Alif Sankey returned on Kingvention stage to tell her story from being a dancer on “Smooth Criminal” to producer on “This Is It”. A special 3D exhibition about “HIStory” was also a key moment for the fans present at the event.

Bill Nation
Bill Nation began working with Michael Jackson through longtime friend Jon Exley, who had been handling Jackson’s photo shoots. Bill’s first experience came at the Brit Awards in 1995 or ’96, witnessing Jackson perform live was a moment he never forgot.
Soon after, Bill took on more assignments: traveling to Paris for an awards show, photographing the Blood on the Dance Floor video, and shooting promotional sessions for 3T.

Alif Sankey
Alif Sankey is a Choreographer, Dancer, Director and Creative Producer from Los Angeles California.
Having worked in all forms of entertainment for over 40 years, Sankey appeared as a dancer in Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” in 1987, which she credits for giving her the drive and inspiration to become successful in her field. She returned to work with Michael in 2009 as the Live Associate Producer for Michael Jackson’s This Is It concerts that were to take place at the O2 Arena in London.
